Who Are We?

Moving On Inverclyde is a community-based recovery service supporting individuals affected by problematic drug and alcohol use.

Founded in 2002 by families directly impacted by substance use, we were built on the belief that recovery is possible for everyone — and no one should have to face it alone.

What began as a grassroots response to a local need has since evolved into a trusted, professional service. We provide confidential, person-centred support, including:

At the heart of our approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping individuals understand root causes, develop coping strategies, and build lasting resilience.

Our team combines professional expertise with lived experience, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space where people at all stages of recovery can feel safe, supported, and empowered.

Whether you're looking for help, information, or just someone to talk to — we're here for you.
